One of the first non-objective paintings I ever did and I still feel it is one of my strongest. The title refers to the passage in Genesis where God seperates the light from the darkness. I'm a bit fascinated by dichotomy...light and dark, positive and negative, good and evil...male and female. These are the sort of things I was thinking of when I did this painting.

I suggest this very respectfully... someone who can paint like this should also pick up a video camera and vlog. Bust out the moving images! Good work. Keep it up!

Very impressive. It's difficult to pick a favorite; while I'm typically partial to acrylics, I find myself drawn to the pen-and-ink, brush paintings, and sketchbook images. Excellent work...wonderful talent. Enjoyed the discussion earlier. Hope all is well there, as it is here.
